Day 4 - Big Bend State Park To Big Bend National Park
Tuesday morning we were up bright and early and the moon was still up. We packed up and headed out of the State Park to the National Park.
I had to get one last picture of the cactus blooming in our camp.
We stopped to take a picture of this jackrabbit on the way out of camp.
On the way out of the state park we stopped at some rock formations. Madison went climbing.
There were ancient handprints and marks in the rocks.
Damion's jeep parked beside the rocks, waiting on Madison to come down.
Gary hanging out while Damion aired his tires back up to get back on the highway.
I took some final photos of Big Bend State Park while we waited on Damion.
And then, we were on the road...
Our first view of the Rio Grande.
Our Truck with the custom-made camper. LOL
There were some people rafting on the river.
This is the view from our camp in Big Bend National Forest as the sun was setting.
Tuesday night was the only clear night of the week that we were there, so I took the opportunity to do some astrophotography. These are star trails.
The Milky Way from our campsite.
Damion wanted a photo of his jeep under the Milky Way.
Cactus under the Milky Way. I experimented with different ways of editing the Milky Way.
Finally, at about 2 am I decided to call it a night.
